MInute of Video Conference

The video conference between Secretariat of the Network of Medical Councils of the WHO South-East Asia Region and Indonesian Medical Council was held on 2nd September, 2010 at WHO office in Pulchowk.

Meeting was attended by:
· Three representatives of Indonesian MC.
· Dr. Shahjahan and Dr. Stephan from WHO Indonesia.
· Dr. Nilmani Upadhyay (Registrar), Dr. Sashi Sharma (Vice-President), Dr. Satish Kumar Deo (Member), Ms. Sabita Lama (Secretary).


The following decisions were made from the video conference:

1. The date for 4th meeting of Network of Medical Councils of the WHO SEAR was fixed for 30th November to 2nd December, 2010.
2. Venue was also confirmed at Bandung, Indonesia. (Bandung is the capital of  West Java province in Indonesia, located about 180 Kilometers southeast of Jakarta and the country's third largest city.)
3. The 4th meeting of Network of Medical Councils of the WHO SEAR will be inaugurated by Health Minister of Indonesia as a chief guest.
4. Secretariat office and Indonesian Medical Council were agreed to invite delegates from other countries as an observer on their own expense. Further decision regarding inviters will be confirmed on next VC.
5. The regional Secretariat will be responsible for all technical activities including the meeting program. All logistic requirement management
during the meeting will be managed by organizing team Medical Council of Indonesia.
6. The date for next Video Conference was fixed for 22nd September, 2010.
